December is usually filled with twinkling lights, holiday romances, and festive cheer — but if you know me, you know that’s not really my thing. Instead of reading a stack of Christmas books I won’t enjoy, I’m giving myself permission to embrace the parts of winter that actually speak to me: the quiet, the magic, the mystery, and the star-soaked skies.

So this month, I’m celebrating Winter Solstice energy through the books I pick up.

I’m calling it my “December in the Stars” reading month — a mix of wintery worlds, witchy vibes, and alien or cosmic reads that feel perfect for the slow, introspective energy of December.
