I think the only book I have ever reread was THE SECRET GARDEN, from when I was a child. There are so many new books, I just keep reading those.

Once I tried to reread a book I loved many years ago and when I started it I couldn’t believe I ever liked it at all. It was terrible. The years in between made a huge difference and I was so surprised. LOL I have stacks of books all over the place, and I want to read as many as I can, so I don’t pick up things I’ve already read but I understand why people do. The love of a book is like visiting an old friend. Warm and welcoming.

Yeah, I am sure I will run into some that don’t hit well anymore. I am certainly not looking forward to it, but I am sure it will happen. It seems many have your same experience.
